About Tatiana Von Tauber
Professionally, I studied court reporting but found it wasn't for me. Several years later I opened up a new and used bookshop with built in coffee house. While corporate businesses such as Starbucks and Barnes and Noble popped up around town, my store offered the old world feel places of intellect should have. My shop was the 'Cheers' of the book and coffee world within the community; everyone knew your name.
I sold it in 2002 to expand my horizons and moved abroad. Since, I've remarried, took up my passion of writing and photography, had a baby, went back to college and currently freelance in between diaper changes, studying and other feminine duties that a feminist would frown upon.
I'm currently working on a book about erotic living and philosophy. I've found, through school, that philosophy interests me more than expected and I plan to focus my studies in the area of sexuality and its ethical representations. Above all, as the years pass, I hope to find a way to initiate tougher standards within the U.S. Justice system against sexual molesters and pedophiles. I have zero tolerance for those who cannot control their sexual urges and libido.
Leonard Shlain, author of Sex, Time and Power and other thought provoking books is my mentor and I use his theories as a basis for my writing. I'm working on a philosophy degree, which just recently changed from my original intent of concentrating on psychology but I weave both concepts into my freelance writing, art and photographic work. I specialize in writing about sexuality and feminine issues and I try to use a gender positive approach to teach young women about their beautiful potentials, which sadly lie hidden in a world of patriarchy.
I’m of Czech decent, born there and speak the language fluently. Now I’m living in Germany. I’m happily married with an 8-year-old daughter, a stepson and a baby girl.
I'm an immigrant daughter to a father who sought freedom from a narrow-minded government, and was taught to stand up for my beliefs. I'm still at it. I was born to speak my mind and teach the world what I have learned. We’re all teachers. Some just never tap into their true potential. I feel that I have and the art of erotic living is my class. Welcome.
Mix a little passion with some sexual play and package it into a mother of three, I've found the balance most women seek. If I do my self-initiated job right, hopefully I can pass that knowledge to other women. The secret to success is to find who you are and become best friends; however, be prepared to come undone.
Namaste,
Tatiana.
